Namaste! At The Yoga Center of Indiana, we believe in yoga, we teach yoga, we practice yoga, and we are constantly striving to learn more about the benefits of this life-long practice. In 2007, The Yoga Center opened in Indianapolis as the only HOT, power Yoga Center.

Every time you come to practice at The Yoga Center of Indiana,  you can expect challenging yoga, unique playlists and motivating themes. This courageous blend of music, meditation and motion has turned our space into a modern Zen playground. We wanted this space to be a place where you could breathe!

In addition, to our signature Vinyasa flow classes, we offer Power Yoga, Slow Flow Yoga, and traditional Ashtanga Yoga.  We believe by providing a variety of yoga classes, every body can find a place to "be Yoga" at The Yoga Center of Indiana.

We invite you into our space to breathe, sweat and rock your body on the yoga mat!  Whether you are looking to start a yoga practice, deepen your existing practice of yoga, or simply to unwind and renew your spirit, you will find The Yoga Center of Indiana a supportive and open minded community that is dedicated to your well-being

  • Please arrive to class a few minutes early.
  • Refrain from eating 1 to 2 hours before practice. Drink lots of water prior to practice.
  • Let your teacher know about any injury or health problem that will affect your yoga practice.
  • Please do not wear scents to class. Many people are sensitive.
  • Observe silence while in the yoga room. Use a quite voice in the reception area.
  • If you leave early, please take Savasana to complete your practice and exit before the rest of the class takes Savasana, as not to disturb the other students
  • Although we provide yoga mats and clean them frequently - for hygienic reasons, it is best to have your own mat. Towels are a must for class, please come prepared to sweat!  Bring a large towel for your mat and a handtowel for yourself.  We do not have a towel service.
  • Respect the limits of your body, do not push, compare or compete.  Yoga is a practice of letting go, being where you are, and self-acceptance
  • Please do not bring cell phones or pagers in class. Turn off your phones in the reception area.

Be prepared to sweat, enjoy and have fun!
